Ok, so a couple people have had problems with this, so who's to say there wont be others?
So heres how its done!
Avatars!
First off, if you want an avatar, it obviously has to be hosted somewhere, and you need to know the address of the file. Once thats been taken care of, then you need to click on the "My Control Center" link in the upper right-hand corner:
That will take you to your Control Center.
Then youll need to click on the 'Edit Profile' link
This allows you to edit your personal profile.
Instead of calling avatars Avatars, EZBoard calls them Photos. So, go to where it says 'My Photo', and insert the url to your avatar. If you check 'Private' then only you will be able to view your avatar, and no one else will see it.
And thats basically it!
Signatures!
Signatures can be set just as easily.
Start by going to your Control Center again
Then, instead of clicking on Edit Profile, click on 'Account Preferences'
Once youve done that, below will be a text box that says 'use Custom Signature' Make sure you check the box next to that, and insert your Sig into the box, formatted as youd like to see it in the forum.. Note: HTML not allowed.
As a little bonus, you can insert a little personal icon next to your name, by adding it to the field above the Signature box. An example of a 'Personal Icon' is the little red "F" icon next to my user name at the top of this post. If you do decide to use this icon, please try to keep it small as a courtesy to others reading the forum.
